Staff Mobile Engineer, Tech Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer, Tech Lead based in United States. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for shaping the long-term technical direction of a high-scale mobile platform serving more than one million users each week. You will lead architecture and engineering strategy across iOS and Android through React Native, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. The role combines deep hands-on engineering with cross-functional technical leadership across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and business teams. You will help advance AI adoption in mobile development, including agentic coding tools, on-device intelligence, and AI-powered product experiences. You will establish engineering standards around architecture, testing, observability, CI/CD, release quality, and mobile development practices. As a technical leader, you will mentor engineers, influence organization-wide decisions, and lead complex initiatives that span multiple teams.
