The Role
- Build product features and enhancements using maintainable code and SOLID design principles.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Customer Success to understand needs and shape effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues, balancing immediate fixes with durable improvements.
- Increase unit-test coverage, automate manual work and contribute to code review and documentation.
- Lead technical projects and coach other software engineers.
- At least three years developing SaaS or e-commerce web applications.
- Strong experience in a modern backend language; PHP is preferred, with Ruby, Java or Python also relevant.
- ES6 and TypeScript experience plus React or Angular knowledge.
- Cloud-platform experience, relational databases and data modelling.
- Understanding of full-cycle engineering practices including testing, source control, build and operations.
