The Senior Software Engineer I - Platform Enablement role focuses on building and maintaining core platform systems that support multiple product teams. This position is crucial for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of shared infrastructure components such as approval workflows, permissions, authentication, and notifications. 3. Responsibilities:

Own and enhance cross-cutting platform systems including approval workflows, permissions, authentication, and notifications
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject experts to deliver integrated solutions
Lead complex projects by breaking down tasks and planning migration paths that avoid disruption
Develop efficient, secure backend code using Ruby on Rails
Design and optimize data models and SQL queries using PostgreSQL
Conduct code reviews and mentor peers to maintain high technical standards
Improve engineering tools, processes, and best practices
Participate in on-call rotations to promptly resolve production issues
