Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs that support a variety of products and services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, develop and support multiple products, ensuring seamless integration and consistent user experiences
- Utilize TypeScript to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for front-end and back-end development
- Implement and manage workflows using Camunda, optimize business processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Design and implement data solutions using Aurora, Postgres, AWS Memory DB/Redis and other relevant technologies to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high software quality
- Integrate code and automated tests with the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and early detection of issues, ensure automated tests are run regularly and provide feedback on the build quality
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promote best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver high-quality solutions on time
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of software systems
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve software development processes
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leading capacity, focusing on GraphQL, TypeScript, and multi-product development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Expertise in Apollo GraphQL, GraphQL federation, and hands-on resolver development
- Proficiency in REST API design, SQL and NoSQL database systems
- Knowledge of distributed systems, eventual consistency, and service-to-service authentication
- Skills in AWS Cloud distributed processes and rate-constrained systems
- Familiarity with event sourcing tools such as SQS/Lambda, API Gateway, Kafka, and Kinesis
- Expertise in TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development
- Experience with BPMN workflow solutions such as Camunda, including workflow design, implementation, and management
- Proficiency with data solutions like Redis, including data modeling, performance optimization, and data migration
- Familiarity with Node.js, React, or similar frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and version control systems such as GitHub
- English level B2+
