The work:

• Apply application design and development across multiple technology areas.
• Configure software products and systems.
• Develop product and platform prototypes.
• Develop proof of concepts across the technology stack.
• Drive consistent quality solution development and delivery.

Here's what you need:

• Professional experience developing responsive applications using Java.
• Professional experience using JEE or other Java frameworks (e.g., Spring).
• Professional experience using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git).
• Professional experience with relational or other database platforms, SQL, or other query languages.
• Experience developing Java Microservices.
• Experience leveraging code assist technologies while developing applications (e.g., Gemini Code Assist, GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, etc.)

Bonus points if you have:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science.
• Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs.
• Experience with Java Application Servers such as Red Hat JBoss.
• Experience with data modeling and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate).
• Experience consuming data via service integration (i.e., REST and/or SOAP APIs).
• Architecture design experience using common design patterns.
• Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS) components in solutions. 
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment, using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible in CI/CD pipelines. 
• Experience with performance testing and tuning.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $83,600 - $196,000 USD
