About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full stack Engineer with 3-5+ years of experience to build the financial engine powering Alt's double-sided marketplace for trading cards. You'll own real-time payments infrastructure processing large ACH transactions across a platform that grew 505% last year — this is not credit card processing, this is moving serious money.
Responsibilities
- Processing thousands of large-value transactions ($100K+) through Stripe and banking partner integrations
- Building and maintaining a custom double-entry ledger system for the marketplace
- Developing new ledgers for future lending and financial products
- Working 70% backend (Python) with React/React Native on the frontend
- Collaborating on a small payments pod (3 engineers total) operating on a ticketing basis
