Job Description

This is an opportunity to work in a well funded tech startup that has become a market leader in a £4 billion market within 4 years! Backed by leading VCs, angels & founders and managed by a team with 50+ years’ experience scaling businesses they understand their two-sided marketplace better than anyone else on the planet and are using technology to disrupt how their industry works.

Having already reached 100,000 5* customer reviews, profitability & are scaling 2-3x every year; they have more awards and press coverage than they have the shelf space for! They are far from done too, there is a huge opportunity ahead with a target to build the business to £100m+ revenue in the next 3-5 years; but they will need your help!

If you are:

Someone with at least 2 years solid front end javascript coding experience (Angular and/or Ionic preferable)
Keen to make software that people will use every single day to make their lives easier?
Excited to work on greenfield projects with responsibility and independence?

The current technology stack (open to improvements and suggestions):

Python on the server side, using Django as a web framework, and Django Rest Framework for our API
PostgreSQL for our database, using some of its advanced geographic modelling capabilities
Angular on the clientside
A hybrid mobile app developed using Ionic on top of Cordova
