About Beam
Beam AI builds self-learning AI agents and an operating system where intelligence grows through autonomous discovery. We transform enterprises from AI-curious to AI-native organizations with automation that delivers results today and learns to improve itself over time.
Join us in shaping a future where AI continuously discovers, adapts, and makes work more meaningful.
About the Team
Beam’s AI Agent Deployment team sits at the intersection of AI, product, and client impact. We work closely with customers to understand how their businesses operate, identify opportunities for automation, and deploy intelligent systems that deliver measurable results.
The team works across workflow design, agent configuration, prompt engineering, technical integrations, and ongoing optimization. We partner closely with engineering, ML, and product to turn real-world customer problems into scalable agentic systems—and bring what we learn in the field back into the platform.
This is a high-context, high-ownership environment. Forward Deployment Engineers work directly with customers, build hands-on, solve problems quickly, and have a direct influence on both customer outcomes and the evolution of Beam’s platform.
About the Role
As a Forward Deployment Engineer, you’ll work directly with enterprise customers to turn complex business processes into reliable, AI-powered automations.
You’ll own deployments from initial discovery through production. That means understanding how a customer operates, breaking down complex workflows, designing and configuring AI agents, engineering prompts, coordinating integrations, and iterating on systems once they are live.
This is a deeply hands-on role. You’ll spend your time moving between customer conversations, workflow design, prompt engineering, technical implementation, debugging, and collaboration with product and engineering. You’ll need to be comfortable getting into the details, and figuring out how to make AI systems work reliably in real-world environments.
What You’ll Do
- Own AI deployments end-to-end, from understanding customer requirements and mapping workflows through solution design, implementation, testing, and production deployment.
- Work directly with customers to understand their business processes, identify high-value automation opportunities, and translate those problems into practical AI agent solutions.
- Design and build agentic workflows using Beam’s Agent OS, including workflow decomposition, agent configuration, prompt engineering, testing, and optimization.
- Build and manage integrations with customer systems, working with APIs and client-side technical teams to connect agents into existing workflows.
- Manage delivery across multiple stakeholders, keeping projects on track while communicating clearly with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and ML teams to surface platform gaps, scope improvements, and turn customer needs into product capabilities.
- Bring customer insights back to Beam, using real deployment experience to improve our platform, workflows, and best practices.
- Act as a technical partner to customers, helping them understand where AI agents can create leverage and advising them on effective approaches to automation.
